Improving Stress in your Neck/Shoulders
● ●
One of the most common areas where we hold stress in our bodies is our neck and shoulders. We are spending more hours than ever at desks and in front of computer screens. Day in and day out, hunched over and unconsciously tense. It takes a real toll on your body, so try the following instruction next time to relieve neck and shoulder tension.
Shrug your shoulders
Sit up straight with your arms loose then shrug your shoulders up as far as you can, and hold for 5 seconds. Then, push them down as far as you can go and hold for 5 seconds. Repeat five times. This step is crucial in relieving tension and helps you keep focus and working longer!
